I'm currently working on a few book projects.

The first novel I'm writing is a fun, light Chanukah-Christmas romcom: enemies to lovers set in snowy small-town Vermont. My favorite scene is set in a Russian bath, and my protagonists can at least agree that latkes are best eaten with both applesauce and sour cream.

The second one is a novel based on the true story of how my great grandparents- a fiery Austrian immigrant who grew up on the Lower East Side and her department store magnate husband - saved a group of Jews from the Holocaust with the help of a world leader.

"My Grandfather was Mr. Gertz’s private chauffeur! Your great grandfather was a beautiful soul that became very close with my Grandfather. During those times it was impossible for African Americans to purchase property outside of designated areas, and because of your Grandfather, My Grandfather was able to purchase a home for his family in Jamaica, NY. He was the first African American to own property in his neighborhood."

"I was a member of the Gertz Debette Club and received a book on birthdays. I still have Alice in Wonderland with a label from the club inside that says: ‘There is no Frigate like a Book to bear us Lands away.’
